Volunteer Recognition

National Volunteers Week was on May 10th-15th and to celebrate UCWPA held its annual Volunteers Recognition Afternoon Tea.  This was a fantastic opportunity to gather many volunteers from throughout the organisation to thank them for their hard work and to present them with a certificate of recognition and small gift. It was touching to hear so many kind hearted words spoken during the event to recognise the achievements of the volunteers and also the staff members who work alongside them.  Currently UCWPA has over 100 volunteers who generously donate their time and skills to all areas of the organisation.  All of our volunteers play an integral part in ensuring our clients receive the support and assistance they need. They truly allow UCWPA to go the extra mile and we thank them so much for working alongside us to help achieve our vision.
