ETSA Utilities Employee Foundation

UnitingCare Wesley Port Adelaide is thrilled to be chosen of one of six worthwhile causes in South Australia for sponsorship from the ETSA Utilities Employee Foundation.
With the ongoing support from the foundation we hope to empower the many people that are involved in our services across South Australia.

ETSA Volunteers have already been involved in one of our major events at Regency Green Milticultural Aged Care Facility. The volunteers held the BBQ at our Annual Fete, which was a huge success. Thank you to everyone that was involved.

Please read the information below from the ETSA Foundation coordinators

The Employee Foundation was established in September 2006 to formalise the significant level of community involvement and volunteering that ETSA Utilities employees contribute across the South Australian community.
The Foundation’s main aim is to increase both corporate and individual involvement in the community, and to act as the central point through which employee volunteering initiatives are coordinated and managed.The Foundation also facilitates the collection and distribution of donations received from employees and matched dollar-for-dollar by ETSA Utilities to a group of selected charitable organisations.The vision of the Employee Foundation is to bring together employees to make a difference to the quality of life in our community.
The Employee Foundation looks for innovative and meaningful programs, projects and opportunities that:
 - strengthen the partnerships between our employees and the South Australian community;
 - support ETSA Utilities’ business purpose as an electricity distributor; and
 - align with the interests of our employees.

The following focus areas have been selected in line with the ETSA Utilities Employee Foundation vision :

Energy & The Environment Working for a sustainable environment
Health & Medical Support Improving quality of life
Aged & Community Support  Creating a safe and inclusive society.
