Communities for Children is an initiative of the Australian Government Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA).
Communities for Children provides early childhood development initiatives that support the health and early development needs of young children aged 0 to 12 years, assists parents and builds child friendly communities.
UnitingCare Wesley Port Adelaide facilitates the Communities for Children program in Adelaide’s north western suburbs.

Seaton Central is a Communities for Children Initiative funded by the Australian Government Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs. It provides support for the most vulnerable and at-risk families with children up to the age of 12 years living with disadvantage.
A diverse range of programs offered at Seaton Central in the areas of primary health, care, socialisation, mental health and building stronger relationships.
