Supported Tenancy Program

This program is run as a partnership between Housing SA (Parks & Port Adelaide offices) and Family and Support Services (UCWPA). The program supports and assists people who are at risk of eviction and homelessness (due to debt, neighbourhood disruption and condition of property) to maintain their tenancies.

Referrals are made by the Housing SA  If there are problems with your tenancy you can contact your Housing Manager and ask to be referred or they may talk to you and suggest a referral to the program.

Services provided include:

  • Assessing issues affecting the tenancy;
  • Developing an agreed action plan based on the tenant's needs and goals;
  • Providing crisis support;
  • Negotiating with Housing SA staff regarding tenancy issues;
  • Advocating for and linking to other services where appropriate;
  • Regularly meeting to provide support.

Participation by tenants in the program is voluntary.

If you are wanting to participate in this program and reside in either the Parks or Port Adelaide Housing SA areas please speak with either your Housing Manager or the Housing Support Coordinator and ask to be referred to the program.
