Boarding House Outreach Support Program

The Boarding House Outreach Support Program is funded by the South Australian Government’s Department of Families & Communities. The program provides support and assistance to people living in (or seeking accommodation in) Boarding Houses in the North Western suburbs of Adelaide.

The program can assist clients with:

  • support in dealing with government agencies and other organisations;
  • accessing information about and linking with services & activities;
  • getting involved in new activities;
  • developing living skills like cooking & budgeting;
  • assistance with transport to appointments;
  • enhancing social skills.

Referrals can be made by anyone in the community including clients, agency workers, boarding house caretakers/managers, friends and family. Participation in the program is voluntary.

The program is based at UCWPA Family & Support Services, Port Adelaide.
