Employment Access Kingston

Employment Access Kingston, also known as Kingston Supported Employment Service (KSES), provides professional guidance and support to people with disabilities, particulary mental health related disbilities, to gain and maintain employment.

Eligibility:
Job Seekers with barriers to employment are assessed by Centrelink using a Job Capacity Assessment to determine eligibility. Job Seekers may start this process by making and appointment with KSES to discuss their training and employment needs, or alternatively contact the Centrelink Disability Officer.

How the Program works: 
KSES is a Business Service funded by FaCHSIA and offers employees with a disability, supported employment in the following areas: catering, mowing and retail. Annual Employment Assitance Plans are designed and developed to achieve new skills and meet employment goals. Services include: 

  • Skills Review
  • Training Needs Analysis
  • One on one training and support

Other Features:

  • Staff experienced and compassionate in working with people wih disabilities, specialising in intellectual disability
  • Strong focus on individual work & social skill development
  •  Confindence building and personla effectiveness activities
  • Traineeships offered
  • Opportunities to be involved in a variety of TAFE courses
  • Support accomodation is available in Kingston through Disability SA
  • Grandma' s Pantry, Grandmas's Pantry supports employment in Kingston and profits provide help for disadvantaged groups. Grandma's Pantry website is:  http://www.grandmaspantry.com.au/
