Wesley Social Enterprises Inc. (WSE) provides regular ongoing supported employment to people living with psychological or mental illness and associated disabilities. Established in December 2010, WSE Inc. is primarily funded by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) under the Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) initiative. Over 100 supported employees work across four locations in South Australia (both metropolitan Adelaide and country) in areas such as commercial sewing, landscaping, gardening, catering, office cleaning and car washing. The benefits of social inclusion through paid employment are clearly evident in the lives of program participants. For more information or to get involved contact the Manager, (08) 8440 4236. |
