St Teresa Aged Care Facility
(High Care with preference given to people of Polish Origin)

St Teresa Aged Care Facility is an ’ethno specific’ facility which gives priority of access to people of a Polish background. Culturally sensitive staff are employed to meet the needs of the residents with many staff having appropriate language skills. Traditional Polish and special cultural and religious events are celebrated and close ties are maintained with the wider Polish community.

The home has 14 single and 16 double rooms. Some rooms have ensuites, others have facilities close by. The single rooms are allocated on basis of need. This may be in relation to a physical condition that requires the increased use of equipment or special needs of a serious illness or disruption to quality of life for other residents.

A hairdresser visits fortnightly and appointments are made with staff.  Charges are very reasonable and residents will be billed for this service.

St Teresa is designated a smoke free facility. Smoking is only permitted in the outdoor areas.
