Seaton Aged Care Facility is an accredited 52 bed High Care facility giving priority access to people of Croatian and Ukrainian origin.

Seaton Aged Care Facility is located close to West Lakes Mall with train and bus transport close by.
The home has 10 single and 21 double rooms. Soime rooms have ensuites, others have facilities close by. No more than two residents share these facilities. The single rooms are allocated on basis of need. This may be in relation to a physical condition that requires the increased use of equipment or special needs of a serious illness or disruption to quality of life for other residents.
The staff at Seaton recognise that the decision to enter a nursing home is not an easy one. They are therefore committed to providing quality care and quality of life for all residents within a homelike setting. Residents are encouraged and assisted to remain as independent as possible and to take an active role in identifying and planning care needs. Family members are also encouraged to participate in this process.
Many of the staff are multi-lingual.
Each resident is provided with a hi-low bed, built in wardrobe and bedside cabinet. All rooms are air conditioned. Each room and bathroom is equipped with an emergency call bell system. Most rooms have their own ensuite. Blankets, sheets, pillows and towels are provided however residents may bring in their personal quilts and pillows if they wish. Residents are welcome to bring along any personal items which will enhance their room, eg photos, paintings.
The Day Room is the main activity area, and it is also used at meal times. There is one smaller dining room where residents are welcome to entertain visitors. Activity staff are employed to plan and coordinate a range of individual and group activities for all residents. Special cultural and religious events are celebrated.
The facility has two cats named ’Blossum’ and ’Charlie’, and two birds in the courtyard aviary for the enjoyment of the residents. Unfortunately individual pets are not possible at Seaton.
Family and guests are welcome to share a meal with residents at a small cost. Special diets and cultural foods are included in the menu.
A hairdresser visits fortnightly. Charges are very reasonable and residents will be billed for this service.
Seaton is designated as a smoke free facility. Smoking is only permitted in the courtyard area.
