Regency Green Multicultural Aged Care Facility provides a unique residential lifestyle for older people from a number of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

The facility is accredited and provides a total of 80 places, of which 34 are designated high care and 46 are low care, including high and low care respite. Preference is given to indigenous Australians, people from the Philippines, Malta, Vietnam, Cambodia, China, and people with Spanish speaking backgrounds.

Residents are accommodated in eight linked houses, and residents have their own bedroom.  Each house has a cultural focus and is designated High or Low care.  As care needs increase, low care residents may be required to move to a house desingated for high care.

As well as individual houses, Regency Green has central facilities designed to enrich the lives of its residents. These facilities include large and small meeting rooms, a hairdressing salon and Craft Room.

Residents have a choice of meals.

Staff with an understanding of cultural diversity have been employed and volunteers from each cultural group play an important part in ensuring that the residents’ linguistic and cultural needs are met.
