Hawksbury Gardens is an accredited Aged Care facility with 47 low-care beds and 16 high-care beds including high and low care repite.  There are also 29 independent living units on site. The home is situated in Salisbury North, close to both Parabanks and Hollywood Plaza Shopping Centres, and gives priority of access to people from the local area.

Management and staff of Hawksbury Gardens respect the rights and dignity of residents and are committed to providing quality care within a homelike setting. Each resident’s right to freedom of choice, confidentiality, comprehensive health care and participation in cultural, social, and religious activities is supported.

 

Residents are encouraged to remain as independent as possible and take an active role in identifying and planning care needs. Family members are also encouraged to participate in this process.

Each resident has an individual care plan. The plan is formulated in consultation with the resident, their doctor, family members and any other key people.

 

A wide range of lifestyle and recreational activities is available and planned in accordance with each resident's individual needs and interests.
