The Faggotter Grove Neighbourhood Group Home is located at West Lakes Shore close to shops, medical centre, bank agency, church and recreational facilities. The home provides accommodation for twelve residents. The Retirement Villages Act of 1987, governs the provision of care. No ACAT assessment is required for admission to this facility.

This style of accommodation suits people who do not wish to live alone in the community but like to remain independent in a supported environment. Two meals are provided daily and breakfast supplies are available. The Coordinator's responsibilities include overall management of the facility plus preparation of meals, cleaning of common areas, shopping for household supplies and overseeing the well-being of residents.

Each resident has a private air-conditioned, spacious bed sitting room (unfurnished) with en-suite facilities. Communal areas include a dining room, kitchen, lounge rooms, and laundry. Residents take care of personal hygiene, dressing, medications, etc., and maintain their own rooms. No nursing or personal care services are provided.

Fees and Charges
An entry contribution is required.  Residents pay a daily care fee equivalent to 85% of the full single aged pension, plus rent allowances.
